For this post I will be discussing what a blogfolio is and why I am making one on this blog site. This blogfolio will consist of many artifacts that have been made by me or copied from other sites. It will also describe the five standards for NETS-T Foundation Standards for Students because this class IT 365 is a technology course that teaches college students who are aspiring to be a teachers all about the technology of a computer and its resourcefulness in a classroom setting.
The reason I am creating a blogfolio is because I have done several projects within this class and I am showing off what I have done over the semester. A blogfolio consists of multiple works that a person has completed and/or revised to show people what they have accomplished and learned over a set period of time. I will have a list of links posted later on this blog site which is available for people to view my work and comment on it if they would like. All of these projects that were completed helped me to learn and understand different programs and how they can help me in the classroom later on when teaching. For example, when I used Google.com to create my "teacher website" it showed me many ways I can inform the parents of the students in my classroom about what's going on or what we are doing in the class. These projects and this blog have helped me become more knowledgeable about computers and its importance in schools and in the classroom. I hope you will enjoy exploring my blogfolio as much as I enjoyed making it to share with you.
